Rather than a standalone science class, students explore scientific thinking through authentic tasks connected to their weekly themes.
What is Field Day Tuesday Every Tuesday, students participate in a Field Day Outing — a dedicated outdoor learning experience where they explore local environments, collect data, make observations, and engage in place‑based inquiry. These outings provide the foundation for the science integration that continues throughout the week in their literacy and math lessons.
